when our respective record labels set us up on a blind date, me and richard from the clams (or dick as he is known) went out and got drunk. Later, when the idea of a split 7" was talked about we decided we should cover each others songs, it just so happened that the clams last single was called "Cut Me Loose" and one of the better tracks on our Noise Action Noise was also called "Cut Me Loose" so it seemed obvious what had to be done.
Dick and a drum machine got together and did a very rough demo,while I played some real drums on what was supposed to be the final thing, however I didn't like it very much and swore to re-record it if ever this stupid idea made it as far as possible release.
Clearly it never came out, but check out crappy demos 1 and 2, and imagine them on a plastic 7" and done a lot better.
