Day 19 - Sludgefeast Revisited

Chocolate Of The Day: Image of the day: Sound(s) of the day:

it's a cup of hot chocolate :

April 14th 2006-

In Colombia, the image of Jesus has been seen on the side of a mug of hot chocolate. Specifically, the face appeared on the side of the mug in a pattern of drips. Because this week, the week before Easter, is known as "holy week" by the Catholic Church, the are rumored to be investigating the appearance. In the meantime, a shrine has been set up for visitors to view the cup in the kitchen where it was discovered.

It's Duke Nuke 'em Forever - again:

a week ago or so, I posted an image of duke nuke 'em on the side of a bus and explained that the game had been in development for 9 years with no one ever hearing anything about it - A techno term for such a project would be "vapor ware" because it's never going to come to anything...However yesterday, they released a 1 minute trailer...so shock of all shocks it may actually be coming out....Or....It could be like 2001 trailer that was released, only to have the game dissapear without a trace. I don't really care about the game, but the soap opera that is its development never ceases to amuse me.

When bands get really big/popular, people release tribute albums, we're not big / popular or good. But on occasion in the past people have taken the opportunity to mock our terrible songs by covering them. Thanks to those people, they are great.

There are a few other covers floating around that I don't have, Junkyard Choir doing "Nothin to Say", UDI doing the stunning "Rock n Roll", and of course Metallica doing "Sludgefeast is Dominating" throughout their last north american tour.
