Day 13 - Must Destroy

Chocolate Of The Day: Image of the day: Sound(s) of the day:

it's a woman dressed in clothes made of chocolate :

it's a broken copy of an xbox 360 game :

As you'll see when you listen to the song, this is similar to the mp3 virtual-sleeve, in fact the cracked disc was intended to signify what the song is about. That's if a song that only has the lyrics "baby, come on, destroy now" can be about anything. The day I put my copy of rainbow six vegas in to my 360 and it refused to load was a sad one. I love that game, I hadn't done anything to it, except played it allot, and the disc has somehow split. So do I buy another one knowing that I have really played the hell out of it, and probably wont play it again, or do I just wait for the sequel? whatever the solution I haven't been able to bring myself to throw away the disc yet, something to do with it costing £40 I guess.

What's this song about then? well its about the end of the record industry as we know it, and there not being any more CD's, on the virtual-sleeve you'll see a portion of my record collection reflected on the surface of a cracked disc...its kind of poetic or something, and then the fact that it exists only as a free MP3, makes it ironic or some other thing.

Whatever, I fear the day when there are no more CD's and my record collection becomes as useful as my rainbow six game disc...imagine the scene "sorry sir nobody manufactures audio CD players any more, perhaps you could rip your CD's and play them from your i-Phone"
