Good Vs Bad - So there are some big ass goings on in the world of the feast, essentially I (James # 1) have decided to take up the role of a christian missionary, spreading the word of the feast to other continents, On the 18th of April my mission begins, I'll take our shit-rock sound to the Asian continent, setting up our shitrock HQ in Singapore. To help me on my quest I'll be recruiting a new bass player and drummer, these guys will be the basis of the newest feast franchise SFS (Sludgefeast Singapore) I'll write a diary of my progress in constructing the second coming of rock. SF-UK arent going anywhere, it just means there will be a fair few less gigs in the European area than you are all used to. This has an effect on the new record (which has been finished for some time) I am not currently sure when or in what country it willbe pressed, I hope to have a few pre release CDR's to give out at the next UK show. Final-ish UK show, the end of rock as you know it is about to come to pass, at the Gander in bournemouth on Tuesday the 15th of April. The Gander is about a 10 minute walk from the Bournemouth train sattion for anyone crazy enough to make the journey. However, for those turning up, you'll be treated tpo not 1, but 3 feast sets, kicking off at 8PM (or 7:30) Andrew Crisp, Coirin Duff and I will play a set of songs from 99, followed by some of our friends playing stuff, set 2 will see Gareth, and things will be rounded off with James II playing songs from more recenttimes. Other bands we hope to have along are Andy Nazers C30, Junk Yard Choir, The Clams, Dylan from Soundbite, and anyone else we can convince to get up and play for a few minutes. 27th March 08	Shit Rock Cafe Singapore

EESF - Go Dorset, our tribute to Electric eel shock is now available through the forum. We played their album launch show on fraday, and it fucking rocked, well I was fucking drunk as a mother fucker, so I asume it rocked, I dont really recall. You can remind yourself of all the releases you may have missed by looking at the online discography, Space is getting limited here on sludgefeast.com, with nearly 1GB of MP3 files floating around we are going to have to start taking some shit down. 15th oct 07
Trans-Am-plification complete! The new 26 track Sludgefeast record is finished, now I just have to do some artwork and get the bonus features together...release date is unkown, but I suspect it will be jan / feb, just because no one will allow me to release a record at Christmas. In other new...we have a few shows coming up, but get excited because on the 12th of next month we play the buffalo bar bar and get to play once more with the mighty Electric Eel Shock, and for the first time with Winnebago Deal...check the rarely updated live page for details... 18th sept 07
We just got back from Holland again, it was ace, thanks / fuck off where applicable to all those concerned, especially vincent. We have just recorded a song for the new sims game "castaway" on the DS...and are still hard at work on our proper sequel to virtua rock (hard at work isn't really true, but we are doing shit on it when we are sober enough to be bothered) As usual there are new songs for forum members to download (you have to be a member and logged in to see them) 23rd july 07

We are proud to announce the feast have formed a relationship with Overdrive bookings, who are booking us some shows in holland as I write this...these shows will occur early next year to coincide with the release of our new mini album "shit rock motherfuckers", more on that soon.
I just did an interview for a fanzine in Belgium, when it comes out it may have an exclusive feast song stuck to the cover...
We played a show last night with mystery meat, it was pretty cool,. although it feels like a century since we last played, so we are slowly trying to get our shit backtogether, I spent today working on artwork for a new record, I am not going to talk about it till its pressed, there may be some things that stop it happening...anyway we are playing in august, 7th is in bournemouth at mr kyps, and on the 10th we are at the buffalo bar in london, might see some of you there? So a busted PC has meant that I havent done an update in a while...now I am back on it, so what have you missed, well the sludgefeast/guitar wolf split 7" picture disc is out (and available from the must destroy site), virtua rock is out, and and in our opinion it's the greatest record ever made, by any band ever to exist, ever. We recorded 100 songs in one afternoon recently... The Urban Games an event filled with BMX's and stuff, is to feature a short animation put together by Nike, the animation features sludgefeast's king of the arcade as its soundtrack. A CD of various event stuff (including the animation) will be available on the day........15th july 05	Thats a pictue of a concept-car nike designed for granturismo 4, see it all comes back to video games in the end.

so I am updating the news section for once, it seems in this ever decaying record industry that no one wants to buy singles anymore, so as an experiment in to other mediums we are doing our next single "total confusion" as an internet release thing, it will be purchasable as a part of a compilation on a real piece of plastic at some point, but for now, internet only ...the track is an alternate recording to the album version, and features some B-sides you cant get elsewhere...it should be released sometime in the next few weeks via lots of weird places (possibly not including this site). As for the album expect that to follow pretty soon. We are also doing a few dates with do me bad things on their upcomming tour, not sure which ones yet, but it will be starting next week so check back....24th may 05
we have finished a video for the song erethezontidae, its available now for download on the sounds page, it was done with no budget at all, so all the fancy "effects" arent really very fancy, anyway this is one of the mean songs off virtua rock, our next pop song video will also go up sometime soon...26th jan 05

OK so I am a big liar it would seem my statement about the recent bull and gate show being our last in london this year was crap, I just got offered another show, and accepted it...on the 10th of november we'll be at the brixton telegraph with the tokyo dragons, I just couldnt turn it down despite the fact that I should be home preparing for halo 2, it is also possible that the sludgefeast movie "disastour" may be being shown somehow or other, it will be on the dvd with the next record so dont fret if you cant make it...paul from benson will be doing DJ stuff. . 1st nov 04

so how long has it been since we updated the news? fucking ages. we seem to do everything on the forum these days, but in recent months there has been a fuck of a lot of upset in the world of the feast, we decided to play less live shows with andy, for various reasons, he's still a feast member and always will be, but you probably wont be seeing him on stage with us very often.
two bits of news in one day...yes its true...you can imagine the trauma that lars ulrich went through when he wasn't sure whether to be a pro tennis player, or the drummer in metallica, the same with maidens bruce dickinson and fencing, so I must report that our drummer when faced with a similar choice decided life as a profesional sportsman would suit him better than life as a drummer, chasing his way up the moto GP xbox live scoreboards, we will think of him often...you can view him playing drums for possibly the last time with the feast on the 15th of this very month at mr. smiths in bournemouth.
so what does this mean for the feast....well it means we'll all be getting drunk next week at gareths aftershow party, and along for the booze will be none other than james thomas, or James II, as he shall be known from now on...a drummer we poached from a band we've played with a few times, james is gonna kick ass, we have already played two try out shows with him, which went pretty damn well, in fact here is a video from last nights show at the dublin castle in london....head along to the bull and gate on the 26th of oct for a chance to see him in action, and quite possibly the last chance to see feast in london this year. . 8th oct

"noise action noise" the new feast album will be released on the 11th of august. the special edition of the new 15 track album features a bonus disc with jet rock versions of songs from the album. the album also features the PC game feast invaders which contains yet more locked audio content! complete the game to unlock demo's and out takes from the LP along with other tracks... all in all the album contains a shocking 50 tracks, all for the price of a normal record...it is the first feast boxset, just wothout the box - 28th june
tour news we have just confirmed that tonight the feast are playing at the garage in london with ten benson. ply two shows have been cancelled sunday 15th milton keynes the pitz, and monday the 16th birmingham jug of ale - ten benson are still playing the jug of ale so head on down, it will still be worth it. - 12th june

the feast will be playing some more shows....29th of may bournemouth mr smiths (on first with tribute to nothing+orco) and on the 31st Coventry coliseum supporting the agendo (with who we share a record label)....then after that we'll be doing some dates on the ten benson tour, then the 26th of april we headline bounemouth's mr smiths.

yesterday was a bad day for the feast, after traveling to this countries capital to meet mr shigaru miyamoto (creater of mario end many other awsome video games) we found that the que to meet the man was closed, it was the first and last signing that james feast will ever go to...anyway to make up for it, the feast spent the rest of the day drinking and wandering around the guitar shops of london, one of those cool yamaha's made its way in to the guitar collection, so along with the two basses purchased last week, the guitar section has been updated - check it out.- 22nd feb

the feast continue to attack the world at large with their superior video game skills, james has notched up a 2500 position in the world for moto GP online (not too easy, but still planing to do better), whilst gareth and coirin have joined the xbox live continuum "chiva knievel" and "agirl" being their tags...if you wanna add us to your friends list email first or you'll just get refursed.
